Privacy
Colloquy is a small personal project, not a company — so this is a plain-language summary of what happens with your data, not a legal document.
When you sign up, we store your email address, your name (if you give one), and a hashed version of your password — never the password itself. Everything you add to your library (books, sessions, notes) is stored under your account and is only ever visible to you when you’re logged in. Nobody else who uses Colloquy can see your library, and we don’t share, sell, or use your data for anything beyond running the app.
Data is hosted on Neon (a managed Postgres provider). If you’d like your account and all of its data deleted, just reach out on the Support page.
